Time to hit the links for this week's 'On the Green'. Today, the Hazen Golf Club. (Perry Olson - KX News) When in the Heart of Sakakawea country and looking for a good round of golf look no further than the Hazen Golf Club. It will provide you with an entertaining test of your game. (Danny Hillerud, Pres. - Hazen Golf Club) It is a tight course especially on the river side where it narrows down and the greens are elevated. That is the key feature of the Hazen Golf Course the elevated greens. The most scenic shot comes from the tee on the par 4 7th. Elevated high above the fairway, it provides a gorgeous shot into a very difficult hole. It is one of three wonderful holes in the middle of your round. (Danny) The back three on the river side make it difficult with the narrow landing areas. I think everyone enjoys it because it is different than most courses. Separated by just a few miles, Hillerud says his course works will the course in Beulah to get the most out of each nine. (Danny) We try to work with each other when it comes to specialty equipment where we can improve both courses with the equipment that we use.
