How To Fix An NFL Team: The 2006 Saints
Duration: 5:00Source: YouTube
A tribute to the 2006-07 New Orleans Saints, the best team ever to wear the black and gold. After a miserable 3-13 season in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the Saints returned to their hurricane-ravaged city to not only rebuild their team, but to help uplift the beleaguered citizens of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast region. Under the direction of new head coach Sean Payton and new quarterback Drew Brees, the Saints took the football world by surprise with an impressive 10-6 season that put them on top of the NFC South, and an emotional playoff run that had them playing in the NFC Championship for the first time in the team's 40-year history. While they did not make it to the Super Bowl, they won the hearts of America and gave the people of New Orleans a much-needed reason to celebrate. This video montage I put together shows some photos and audio clips highlighting some of the most memorable moments in the most memorable season in Saints history. Hope you enjoy. GEAUX SAINTS!!! UPDATE 4/5/07: Thanks to all of you for your kind comments; they are much appreciated. It blows me away to see so many people touched by this video, but I have to give the Saints all the credit for that. They're the ones who gave us the inspiring season; all I did was make a video about it. (And credit to Coldplay too for such an amazing song.) Thanks again and keep telling your friends about this video. Hopefully someday YouTube will feature it! :)
