This is Lodur, an icelandic horse mix, between 20 and 25 years old. He has been at a riding school for 15 years and came to our stable about 6 months ago. He was in a bad condition, VERRY thin (due to worms) and had no fun being ridden anymore. Seemed to be completely lazy and he was also very hard in his mouth. I guess that's because the only thing he did in that riding school was to follow other horses and trying to ignore all those beginners on his back. He didn't react to any of the things I did. About 3 weeks ago it was almost impossible to get him to canter ;) Now it's much better as you can see :) I believe he's having fun again. Please excuse my bad riding, I started riding again about 3 months ago and learned stuff together with Lodur. He's such a cute guy, I really love him :)I really want to learn more and get better so please feel free to comment!
