Three foreign tourists who were missing in India's northern skiiing resort are rescued. A Dutchman and two Israelis who were missing since Tuesday, 27th Feb, after heavy snow and an avalanche hit a northern ski resort in India, were rescued by a joint team of police, army and civil officials. Officials said they were rescued in good health though inclement weather condition and heavy snowfall in Gulmarg and higher reaches hampered the rescue mission. The hill resort town is situated at more than 13,000 feet above sea level and attracts more than 70 percent of tourists visiting the otherwise restive Kashmir valley.
