Wing Chun Chi (Qi,Ki) Gung Siu Nim Tao is a powerful system of bringing energy into the body. As with most of our classes there is zero impact on the body. Think tai chi with less movement. No previous martial arts experience is necessary to participate. There is no contact in this class. Monday thru Friday 8 am to 9 am ______________________________________ Stretch and Abs - For those that are serious about getting that midsection into shape. 30 minutes of gentle stretching followed by 30 minutes of intensive abdominal training. We've got abs down to a science! Monday thru Friday 9 am to 10 am ______________________________________ Group Wing Chun Training - Traditional Wing Chun training includes forms, chi sao (sticky hands), chi gerk, chi gung exercises, partnered exercises, pole form, bart jom do, mook jong (wooden dummy), sand training. Wing Chun is considered by many to be the "finishing school" of martial arts. Our style of training is very control orientated. Once trust and control is established students are permitted to make contact with other students. This class is good for people that want to stay fit, learn effective self-defense skills and become a serious martial artist. Wing Chun was invented over 400 years ago by Chinese nuns. It remains to be the most effective way to develop amazing power in a short amount of time. Wing Chun is a superb compliment to most other forms of martial arts training including yoga, tai chi and karate.
