South Africa prepare for Argentina test; NBA set for London show; Narrow escape for race track kangaroo   Down to the last four at the Rugby World Cup...we're with the hosts...and the newly-installed favourites... The NBA's Europe Live tour hits London... And Australia's luckiest kangaroo and his day out at the races. RUGBY FRANCE From one massive test to another for the 2007 Rugby World Cup hosts. There's barely time to draw breath for France following their stunning quarter-final win over favourites New Zealand. Captain Raphael Ibanez and coach Bernard Laporte now have to focus on ending the reign of world champions England in the last four - it's an England team currently thriving on being written off. SOUNDBITE: (English) "For us it is just about fronting up. Against the All Blacks we were proud of our colours, of what we are and hopefully it will be the same against England." SUPERCAPTION: Raphael Ibanez, France captain. SOUNDBITE: (French) Laporte says: "We know the capacity of this English team. We never said they were not strong even when they were having problems. It will be a very hard match against a pack that is very strong. So we will prepare accordingly. We know it might be more difficult than last Saturday." SUPERCAPTION: Bernard Laporte, France coach. After that shock defeat to fellow semi-finalists Argentina a month ago, France's World Cup campaign is firmly back on track - with old rivals England now between 'Les Bleus' and a Paris final. RUGBY SOUTH AFRICA Newly-installed Rugby World Cup favourites South Africa trained in Paris on Tuesday, firmly focussed on Sunday's semi-final against Argentina. Following the demise of fellow southern hemisphere giants New Zealand and Australia in the quarters, the Springboks find themselves in pole position to claim a second World Cup crown. With no injury problems ahead of their match-up with the Pumas, it's a settled South African camp. SOUNDBITE: (English) "Yeah well they are a good solid pack, they scrummage well, their line-out maul is obviously good and they are very good in close quarters and they thrive in that 'rumble tumble' type play and its been very successful for them so far. It's going to be a big ask for our pack to match them. SUPERCAPTION: Eddie Jones. South Africa have never lost to Argentina - their World Cup hopes now hinge on that record remaining in tact. NBA LONDON The NBA's Europe Live tour has already visited Spain, Turkey and Italy. On Wednesday night, London gets its turn when it hosts the clash between the Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves at the O2 Arena. The match-up is part of an American sporting invasion of England, coming a week after NHL hockey teams Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings split two games at the O2 Arena and just over two weeks before the NFL's Miami Dolphins and New York Giants go head-to-head at Wembley Stadium. Minnesota head coach Randy Wittman recognises the importance of introducing the NBA to new audiences. SOUNDBITE: (English) "The game has become global, worldwide where everybody's playing it. I think it's good for the game of basketball to be able to come over and go to different parts of the world to promote our game." SUPER CAPTION: Randy Wittman, Minnesota Timberwolves head coach. On Wednesday night, all eyes will be on superstar forward Kevin Garnett, who's joined the Celtics after 12 illustrious seasons with the Timberwolves. Garnett will lead a trio of Boston stars along with Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, but Garnett believes the team's overall strength will be the key this season. SOUNDBITE: (English) "Even though you have three primaries on this team, the ball has to move and the minor players on this team have to be in spots and, like you say, guys like Eddie House, (Rajon) Rondo, even Ray Allen and Paul Pierce are going to have easier shots. I think it's my job to initiate, put pressure on the defence but to get the ball to those guys we know." SUPERCAPTION: Kevin Garnett, Boston Celtics forward. Some observers believe that with Garnett Boston have a great chance of securing their first NBA Finals success since Larry Bird's side of 1986. MOTORSPORT KANGAROO *No access Australia. Drivers in a V8 race in Bathurst, Australia found an unexpected guest on their racetrack when a kangaroo decided to join in the proceedings. UPSOUND: (English) "Oh, that was so scary." Somehow, the drivers managed to avoid the marsupial. UPSOUND: (English) "That was amazing vision. How close were those guys." The drivers and the 'roo escaped injury.   <저작권자(c)연합뉴스.무단전재-재배포금지> Rugby World Cup semi-finals preview
