Originating in Plymouth, WI the WSOR Santa Special was lead by a 1913 ALCO 2-8-2 Steam locomotive originally built as SOO Line 1003. It was a very snowy Saturday and Wisconsin was getting more snow than what was predicted, but that only added to the effect and excitement of this awesome steam locomotive. They were running on the WSOR Plymouth Sub which was laid by the Milwaukee Road the merged with SOO Line who was bought by Canadian Pacific who sold the line to Wisconsin Central who was bought by Canadian National who sold it to the State of Wisconsin who leased it to Wisconsin and Southern.
