Triple Stabbing, Including A Baby, In Cooper City 5/4/06 7am Nefertiti Jaquez A domestic dispute has lead to a triple stabbing in Cooper City and one of the victims is just a baby. According to BSO spokesman Hugh Graf, the suspect has been identified as Cedric Bethel and he is the father of the child. The incident took place at 9216 SW 49th Place in Cooper City. Bethel allegedly attacked his 21 year old girlfriend, Tika Jones, who is also the child's mother and the baby, Cedric Bethel Jr, who is 1 and a half years old. The baby was reportedly stabbed in the neck. Jones' brother, Willie Jones, 22, heard the commotion and when he walked into the room and witnessed what was happening, Bethel allegedly stabbed him too. All of the victims were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. The mother and baby are reported to be in serious condition and Cedric Jr., may not survive , according to Graf. Police say the suspect, Cedric Sr., remains on the loose and is believed to be armed with a knife.
