Toastmasters Humourous Speech Contest Division G Level - Plymouth, Michigan Speaker #1 - Ken Egervari Title - If Elected... I got 2nd place at Division Level for this speech this year. I got approx. 40 laughs, and close to a 30% response rate, which I think is pretty good for my second humourous speech contest. The speech definitely has problems (mainly the final bits at the end didn't really go over as well as they did in the Club and Area contests), but compared to most of the district finalists, I think this speech would have been competitive.
