NFL Injury Report for Week 1 with Dana Ward from Gamblers Television
Duration: 2:30Source: YouTube
Dana Ward from http://www.GamblersTelevision.com Hello pro football fans from our "Rockstar" studio this is Dana Ward here with our NFL Injury Report for the sports betting public as well as Fantasy Football players. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady told reporters following practice on Monday that his right foot injury has been getting better and he should be ready to play in the opener on Sunday against Kansas City. Brady has missed the entire preseason tending to what was reported as a deep bone bruise in his right foot. Head coach Bill Belichick did not confirm Brady's status for Sunday's game and he told the media that he would give them the injury report after Friday's practice. New England is a 17-point favorite against the Chiefs. Cleveland Brown's quarterback Derek Anderson is expected to start against the Dallas Cowboys in the team's opener on Sunday. Anderson had been sidelined since suffering a concussion in the Browns preseason game against the New York Giants on August 18th. There is concern over the Brown's offensive line protecting Anderson as the unit has had a poor preseason. Anderson was back at practice on Monday and head coach Romeo Crennel named his second year QB as his starter barring any setbacks. This game has seen significant line movement by bettors. Dallas opened up as a 3-point favorite and the early money has been on the Cowboys as they are currently a 5-½ point road favorite. Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy told the teams official web site that he would be shocked if Peyton Manning wasn't behind center when the team opens its season on Sunday Night Football against the Chicago Bears. Manning missed the entire preseason as the Pro Bowl QB was recovering from offseason surgery to remove an infected bursa sac in his left knee. Manning has been practicing since last Tuesday and went through his usual pregame drills during the Colts final preseason game last Thursday but did not see action. The Colts are currently a 10 point favorite against the Bears. That will do it for today's NFL injury report. This is Dana Ward reminding you to check out GamblersTelevision.com this week as Tony T delivers his picks from week 1 of the NFL season.
