Southridge Student Killed By Suspects Running From Police 3/8/06 Noon Nefertiti Jaquez A Miami Southridge Senior High School student has died after being hit by a truck full of burglary suspects on the run from police. The 17 year old student was on her way to school this morning when a gold SUV suddenly slammed into her much smaller blue car, at SW 114th Avenue and 192nd Street. Both vehicles also smashed into a fence. The girl was airlifted to JMH's Ryder Trauma Center where she has died. The three suspects, driving the SUV, were wanted for an armed home invasion burglary near Southridge Senior High, 19355 SW 114th Avenue, which has been under a precautionary lockdown all morning. After the crash, police captured one suspect at 11620 Quail Roost Drive. Two other suspects, armed with guns, are still at large. There is a police perimeter set up in the area and K-9 dogs are scouring the area.
