Chicago IL USA (Alfonz/Fonz) came into the Hot Wax studios (www.myspace.com/hotwaxchicago) recently and really tore the roof off the motha...De La Mota is a product of the Chicago underground with a long history in the Chicago rave/underground scene, both as one of the biggest promoters in the Midwest during the late 1990's rave scene, also in the drum n bass underground for being major contributor / supporter to the local scene, along with m1d1, establishing the Midwest's largest drum n bass dj collective known as the "M.I.A." and he also founded "Sur America Records" releasing 2 12" records by Danny the Wildchild, Out Of Order and Locked&Loaded all Chicago producers. Since his start as a DJ in 1994 he has played all over the Midwest from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and as far as Albany New York, Troy New York,Denver Colorado. Houston and McAllen Texas, legendary drum n bass nights including Respect in Los Angles California @ the bee in April 07,and the original Konkrete Jungle @ pyramid in New york city.
