Technos: Neuro Vision Sensor Super 5000K: Diginfo
Duration: 2:51Source: YouTube
Technos has developed the Neurosensor and 5000K Visual Inspection System which utilized aspects of neurotechnology in its development process to create a camera and inspection system that has up to 116.5 times the visual acuity of the human eye, up to 1,000 times that of a conventional CCD line-sensing camera and can display the results of scans in 3D. Every second the system can detect a defect 1/115850th of the size of the scanned section, allowing it to find defects in fields as varied as the paper manufacturing industry where feed machines and rollers operate at up to 10,000 m per minute, the glass and film industry where transparent materials are inspected, as well as inspecting for sub-micron sized defects in the semiconductor industry. The camera uses three different sensing modes:Perception sensing, which processes lightness data for finding foreign materials and surface flaws.Trend sensing, which emulates the function of the retina, finding color irregularity or a mottled appearance in materials such as flat panels or liquid crystal displays.Tremor sensing, which simulates the high speed, minute shaking of the human eye when focusing on objects, allowing it to find defects that would normally be concealed in between pixels, for inspection of materials at high levels of accuracy. The Technos 5000K inspection system can also be customized to display defects within 1/40th of a second, record real-time or processed images of defects and search and store data for up to 80,000m or 80,000 units.
