FastCompany.tv debuted today with new shows from Robert Scoble. The Flash video player that is being used is from a small New York start-up Twistage. Twistage will soon implement a podcast of the FastCompany.tv videos. The company provides a "white label" solution to video publishers. Meaning the company provides the tools to create and manage video publishing and distribution. Twistage doesn't sell ads, it is Web services company that is paid by downloads. It's similar in ways to Maven, Brightcove and the Platform, but seems much easier to use, less costly -- but far less utilities of the big companies. For medium sized publishers looking to an easy solution and control over branding, this could be a solution. Publishers have the choice of several skins and customized them. I really love this on pink one for Perez Hilton. Looks to me like the FastCompany.tv player could use some customization, maybe not hot pink, but more buttons for audio level might be good. Twistage David Wadler stopped by the office to give an overview of his company's service and its implementation on FastComany.tv Congratulations Robert, Rocky and the folks at Fast Company on today's launch.
