I went to see YACHT at Rubber Gloves in Denton Sunday night. I expected a greater turnout, but the crowd was a lot of fun regardless. Austin had the bright idea of bringing sparklers to the show..something he's already been arrested for once. I told him Rubber Gloves would surely kick him out, but he assured me that Jona would love them..and he was definitely right. That's me at the beginning handing Jona a sparkler and that's Austin and I lighting them up at the end of the clip. After about two boxes of sparklers, the back doors were propped open to let out the smoke and Austin got a stern talking-to..no more sparklers...so I was partially right about that. After the show, we bought stickers, cds and posters and Austin gave Jona the remaining sparklers for perhaps another firework-filled show in Houston the following night??? We invited Jona and Claire to go swimming at a pool nearby later on...I think I was the only one who thought the water was warm..everyone else babied out pretty early. After that we all said our goodbyes. Such a fun night. Sorry this clip is so dark, shaky and very loud! Turn the volume down! Filmed by Austin.
