GIMP - Changing Startup Image

In this tutorial I will show you guys how to change your gimp startup image. Original Startup Image http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/41... New Startup Image http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/97... 1) Start up gimp. 2) Make a new document with your width 300px and height 400px. 3) Make your image, with stock images or w/e I don't care. or you can use the image I made above. 4) Then save your image as "[color=red]gimp-splash.png[/color]" onto your desktop. 5) Close Gimp 6) Move the image (gimp-splash.png) from your desktop into Program Files/Gimp-2.0/share/gimp/2.0/images 7) Replace it over the original gimp startup image. 8) Start up gimp. 9) Your Done!!! NOTE: The image we changed to was found at = http://elgibo.deviantart.com/art/Foru... All I did was crop the image, resize it, and apply the text.
