Lets clear things up. I realized today that even while auto kick is on, you can still hit bass notes. I apparently had auto kick on during this run because of the obvious strike line lag. I was hitting all the bass hits with the pedals but the ones i didn’t make i guess were hit with auto kick. Sorry bout the confusion guys.
