/////kneeon was asked by our friends at Ghost Robot to help with the animation and compositing for "In New York, Everything is Tropical", the debut video from Kuroma. The psychadelic video was shot guerilla-style in 1 day and after an energetic and schizophrenic edit was completed, /////kneeon was brought in to direct the stop-motion segment featured in various parts of the video, as well as animate elements designed by Jonathan Cannon. The stop-motion sequence was shot with a Canon Digital Rebel using Dragon Stop Motion software. The compositing, animation of the graphics, and color correction were done by /////kneeon using Adobe After Effects CS3.
