Bump firing is handy. But unfortunately there is a very popular video showing people to just use a belt loop and a thumb through the trigger guard. That's very unsafe and people shouldn't fire that way. You can easily have your rifle jump on you and you can overshoot your backstop and hurt people miles away! Also, while inserting your thumb you can accidentally start bumping without being ready and you can hurt yourself or others if you're not pointing your rifle in a safe direction. The best thing if you're going to bump fire is to PRACTICE without the stupid belt loop. Only morons and hayseeds use their belt loops. You can easily fire your rifle from your shoulder or from your side at elbow level (like shown in the video) while holding the pistol grip of your gun without any of that unsafe fingerfucking of the trigger with your index finger from the side of the gun. Simply hold your forearm grip securely, grab the pistol grip *loosely* but without letting the grip out of your control and pull the trigger back with your index finger. It's that simple. Just practice with a couple boxes of shells and you can SAFELY bump fire since you can better control your firearm for the entire time. You can also more easily terminate the bump if you need to. Be safe out there kids. I recorded the AK-47 to show a friend that semi-automatic rifles can fire like a fully-automatic capable rifle. Again, the AK-47 has absolutely NO modifications whatsoever and there are not attachments or devices to aid in rapid fire. The rifle meets all legal standards.
