I've always feared getting a phone call saying that one of my children were either hurt or dead. My daughter called me hysterically crying that her brother had wrecked the car and that everyone was hurt, but that her brother was hurt "real bad." She didn't know if he was even still alive. What made it worse was the fact that they were in my only car and I had no way to get to them quickly. I'm so glad my mom was able to leave work (at the hospital,) come get me, and get me to my children quickly. My daughter only got a few cuts and bruises & my son's friend escaped with some cuts and a broken finger. My son wasn't so lucky, but he is alive. It will take months for him to fully recover. Thanks to all of Forrest & Faith's friends who visited, even on Friday & Saturday night when they are usually out partying. You guys actually brought the party to the hospital! Thanks to everyone who bought cards, balloons, flowers, gifts, and food. Special thanks to TJ and Dougie for actually staying overnight in the crappy hospital with us.
