the friend of an albuquerque middle school teacher who police say admitted to having sex with a 13 year-old boy. we caught up with the owner of the dance studio where 33-year-old kristy sanchez trujillo also worked as a part- time instructor. kayla anderson is live near coors and i-40 with what the woman is saying. kayla. sanchez-trujillo taught dance several times a week here at "on stage performing arts." tonight her boss from the studio-- and good friend-- tells us she’s shocked and disappointed to learn of the teacher's arrest. wanda mitchell has been in business at this northwest albuquerque dance studio for more than 50 years. she says her dance teachers are certified-- and checked out thoroughly before they're hired. 33 year old kristy sanchez- trujillo taught at the studio back in the 90's-- and then again starting last summer. late wednesday police arrested her. they say the jimmy carter middle school social studies teacher confessed to driving a 13 year old student to the movies-- and then to the petroglyphs-- where the two had sex in the back of her car on two occasions. she described the boy as quote " a twenty-five year old in a thirteen year old's body." middle school parents are disgusted: "its just a horrible situation and i hate it and i'm just grossed out."
