跟開封街口的電動景觀陸橋，有傳統樓梯，也有電梯跟電扶梯，豪華至極，耗費將近七千萬；另外，承德路與吉利街口設有殘障車道的陸橋，耗費4200萬，但此橋距離公車站牌過於遙遠，且天橋的另一端還是農地，每天使用此橋的民眾不超過3人！唯一的用途，或許是成為警方照相取締交通違規的場所吧。 當然，最被詬病的，是台大醫院門口的常德街地下道，短短的43公尺，花了2億3千多萬，算一算，平均每公尺造價545萬元，比起雪山隧道平均每公尺造價178萬元，足足多了三倍；被戲稱是「黃金地下道」！ 這樣的設施，出發點或許為了照顧行人安全
