On this particular hot summers day we were resting at the wharf and we spotted 8 dead gummy sharks in the water lying at the bottom of the rocks. They were all about 2 feet thick. A gummy shark is greyish white and its gums are whiter than its teeth. Dead gummy sharks have floppy tails and are hunted for their teeth.
