Tricia: Hi Tony and Hey everyone Tony: Most everyone had the New England Patriots running away with the AFC East. But all of a sudden Buffalo is 5-1 and in first place. Tricia: I know, its pretty crazy but Buffalo is proving week-in and week-out that they deserve to be at the top of the standings. I think people expected a lot of Matt Cassel and unfortunately he hasnt been able to consistently prove his worth. Tony: OK now its time for Tricias Chick Pick. Lets stay in AFC East here and a battle between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins in Miami with the Bills a 1 ½ point favorite. Tricia: Take Buffalo to cover the minus 1 1/2 point spread. With their best start in 13 years, the Bills are sitting confidently atop the AFC East. They are coming off an outstanding performance in a 23-14 victory over the Chargers. On the other hand, the last-place Miami Dolphins have lost back-to-back games to Houston and Baltimore. Oh, and also remember, The Dolphins have lost 7 of the last 8 meetings with Buffalo. Tony: Yes the Bills have owned the Dolphins but that was during the Dolphins bad years. Dont you think Miami is on the improve? Tricia: Yes, Miami has improved a lot since last year, but I just cant see them knocking off playoff-quality teams like the Bills. Tony: Well the Dolphins did beat the Chargers and Patriots and they did it by stopping the run. Are the Bills good enough to win this on solely through the air? Plus its only 1-½ points. Doesnt seem like enough. I wonder why? Maybe the oddsmakers want you to take Buffalo to have you sitting on a trap. Tricia: Well, I dont think the Bills can rely only on their passing game.
