If you’ve driven on MoPac lately, you may be wondering about all the antennas and satellite dishes at Camp Mabry. The Texas National Guard is teaming up with private companies — as well as state, local and federal agencies -- to test emergency communication systems. The tests are designed to ensure radio, phone, satellite and internet systems are ready for a hurricane or other major emergency. Col. Kevin Turnbo and Col. Connie McNabb spoke with KVUE News.
