converting these just last night — 20 years after the interview, in order to upload here. By a total coincidence, the news reported the death of Mr. Carradine today. Think well of him. He was a good, kind man. He was playing Tennessee Waltz on the hotel piano when I picked him and his wife up for the studio interview. He kept me waiting and smoked on the set (verboten!) but it was all in good fun -- he was playful that way. A total mensch. Rest in peace. More about the show, Conversation: ...
