A young married couple, Joyce (Kathryn Hays) and Dexter Davis (Jeremy Slate), look forward to the arrival of a nurse to care for their newly born son. The woman, an elderly German named Frieda (Lilia Skala), was once Dexter’s nurse but has not seen him since he was eight years old. However, Dexter continues to remember Frieda with affection and assures his wife that their child will have the best possible care. Shortly after Frieda’s arrival, the couple goes out for the evening, leaving Frieda in charge for the first time. When Joyce and Dexter return home they find the baby crying in pain. Although Frieda assures her that the baby has nothing more than a slight stomach ache, Joyce soon begins to have her doubts about the new nurse. Director: Joseph Pevney.
