In attendance were Bill Cosby, George Wein, Jean-Louis Gilhaumon, George Avakian and Wynton's Father Mr. Ellis Marsalis. With a performance by Wynton's quintet with saxophonist Walter Blanding Jr. and Ellis Marsalis at the Steinway Piano with his son.
