The Family Day Care Training & Network Support Program simultaneously addresses the high unemployment rate and the lack of affordable, high-quality childcare in South Bronx. Targeting low-income women with low educational attainment, language barriers, and other obstacles to career building, the program helps women become licensed family daycare providers operating home-based childcare regulated by New York State.
