Based on Ann Rule's novel detailing the real-life heinous deeds of killer Ted Bundy (Bill Campbell), this made-for-TV film follows crime reporter Ann (Barbara Hershey), who's assigned to cover a disturbing serial murder case spanning from the Southwest to the Pacific Northwest. The reporter struggles to find an angle for her story, but gets more than she bargained for when she discovers that the killer in question is a very good friend of hers.
