When a young hair stylist working in a Washington, D.C., salon turns up dead, the cops say she committed suicide over a bad haircut -- but fashion columnist Lacey Smithsonian (Maggie Lawson) contends she was murdered. With the help of her own stylist, Stella (Sadie LeBlanc), Lacey uses her haute couture eye to spot clues and close in on the culprit.
