Mavericks: Live in Austin, Texas
Florida band the Mavericks' unique blend of country and rock & roll sound made them a success in the early 1990s. Formed in the late 1980s by singer Raul Malo and his best buddy, drummer Paul Deakin, the group used their similar musical influences -- Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash -- to create fresh-sounding music. This live show, recorded in June 2004, features the boys delighting the crowd at Stubb's Barbecue in Austin, Texas.
