Stella Artois and film networking site TriggerStreet.com are partnering with actor Kevin Spacey on an independent filmmaker competition that will award a $50,000 cash prize to the winner.
Aspiring film directors can participate in the Stella Artois Short Film Project by submitting an entry no longer than 10 minutes long online. Entries will be accepted between Jan. 26 and June 15.
Ten finalists will be selected from the films submitted through a rating system on the site. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges to be assembled by Spacey later this year. The winning film will gain exposure at several independent film festivals throughout the year.
