YouTube is reportedly about to unveil 100 Internet TV channels of original programming from professional organizations to movie, music, and sports stars. In other words, Google is looking to translate the Twitter feed into the YouTube video feed and allow these stars and outlets their new home. YouTube plans to add 25 hours of new original Internet TV programming content per day.

Most of the new Internet TV channels are slated to launch next year. Channels that are known include, Antony Zuiker, the creator of criminal drama CSI, Madonna, Ashton Kutcher, Jay-Z, NBA star Shaquille O'Neal, Rainn Wilson, skateboard legend Tony Hawk, The Wall Street Journal, Thomson Reuters, Slate, satire site The Onion and Cosmopolitan owner Hearst.

Google would like to break into the high-quality content market like Hulu and this will be their most significant push to date. According to the Wall Street Journal, Google will pay up to $100 million to producers of online TV channels as an advance on advertising revenue from the new channels.
