On July 24, 2010, the city of Duisburg will be the host city for the 2010 Love Parade. Duisburg is in the Ruhr Area in North Rhine-Westphalia, in the west of Germany, and the Love Parade will be centred around the city’s main train station, aptly named Duisburg’s Freedom. Host is Germany's TV show star Oliver Pocher.

There will be a total of 20 floats in the parade part of the Love Parade festival. Colourfully and imaginatively decorated by individuals and companies who are an active part of the dance culture, the main feature of the floats will be their music.
