The Exit Festival was established in 2000 in Serbia as a student movement in the struggle for democracy. Today, Exit is the biggest music festival in South Eastern Europe. Because of its unique characteristics, Exit was voted the best European and international festival, also has been chosen a best world tourist destination, among other distinctions. Over 1.5 million visitors have attended Exit and over 30,000 tourists from around the world make their way to the Petrovaradin fortress in Novi Sad every year.
