Every year, the International Triathlon Union (ITU) hosts seven first-class World Championship events and a Grand Final where the world’s best triathletes are competing head-to-head. The ITU world cup races include a 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run. The championship series are held in Tongyeong, Korea; Madrid, Spain; Washington, USA; Kitzbühel, Austria; Hamburg, Germany; London, UK; Yokohama, Japan.
