The Six Nations Championship is an annual International Rugby Union competition. The following six European countries participate in the event: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. The teams play each other once, with home field advantage alternating from one year to the next. A win is awarded with two points, a draw with one point and a loss with none. The team with the most points wins the Championship Trophy.
