Bones is a police drama television series created by Hart Hanson and based on forensics and police procedurals. When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless or the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed that CSI gives up, FBI’s Special Agent Seeley Booth calls in a forensic anthropology team including Dr. Temperance Brennan, known as “Bones”, Angela Montenegro, Dr. Jack Hodgins, and Dr. Camille “Cam” Saroyan to read clues left behind in the victim's bones. Bones is inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs.
