Luke asked her to join him as his partner again, but she knew she couldn't do that because of the girls. Liz locked herself out of the apartment and Lucky let her into his room through the window. He warmed her up when she said she was freezing and they knew they were perilously close to making love again. Lucky went in search of the key and ran into a smitten Maxey. Her heart was broken when Liz came downstairs and intimated that Lucky needed to tuck her in. Hannah told A.J. that she was afraid of hurting him, but he claimed to see through her ploy to keep distance between them.
