How to Make It in America is an HBO television program that first aired in 2010. The producers manage to expertly mix comedy and drama together, without every being too corny or cheesy. The story follows two young men trying to make it in the fast pace world of New York fashion design.

Ben Epstein, played by Bryan Greenberg, and Cam Calderon, played by Victor Rasuk, are good friends. They both share a similar American Dream, and that dream is to make a real name for themselves in the New York fashion scene. This is where How to Make It in America allows Ben and Cam to use their street smarts in order to pull themselves up the ladder of success one rung at a time.

They also have a little help from some well connected friends, as well. Hip hop artist Scott ‘Kid Cudi’ Mescudi supports the stars of How to Make It in America by playing Domingo Brown, one of their well connected buddies. Luis Guzman comes in as Rene Calderon, Cam Calderon’s brother, who has ambitions of his own for his life.
