Top Chef: Just Desserts is a competition show on the cable channel Bravo that is hosted by “Food and Wine Magazine” food critic Gail Simmons. Simmons has also appeared as a judge on “Top Chef” since its beginning.
The competition show mainly features pastry chefs who want to win a monetary grand prize so that they can start their own business.

The show has a format that involves two types of challenges: quick fire and elimination. The quick fire challenge is a quick pastry challenge that usually takes less than three hours.
