Going into its third season, White Collar is an action-filled drama airing on the USA network. It all started a few years ago when legendary con man, art forger, and thief Neal Caffrey was captured by FBI agent Peter Burke. Years later, when Caffrey (played by an oozing-with-charisma Matthew Bomer
) escapes from his prison cell, Burke (Tim DeKay
) is tasked with the job of finding the fugitive. Caffrey is caught and returned to prison, but not for long. He convinces a reluctant Burke to pull some strings and allow Caffrey out of prison to help the FBI with the white collar cases that deal with Caffrey's area of expertise.
White Collar walks the careful line between funny and dramatic, with suspense and mystery unfolding in every episode. The series follows a larger mystery while Burke and Caffrey solve weekly crimes. The major mystery of the first season is finding what happened to Neal Caffrey's missing girlfriend, Kate. The mystery unfolds at a natural pace, keeping viewers at The Edge
of their seats. As one mystery is solved, another begins and it all seems very fluid.
The supporting cast lend a lot to the show. Neal's best friend and confidante Mozzie (played by Willie Garson
) is beloved by fans for his quirky attitude, his deadpan humor, and his wild conspiracy theories. Elizabeth Burke (played by Saved By The Bell-alum Tiffani Thiessen
) is Peter's wife, and one almost gets The Feeling
that she'd make a good FBI agent herself.
