He used his Phone-a-Friend to call his mother on his $1,000,000 question (no, he wasn't pulling another John Carpenter). She was not at all sure of what language Anne Frank's diary was first published in (Dutch), and he wasn't either, so he leaves with $500,000. Next in the seat is Dale Masel.
