The UEFA Europa League, or previously known as the UEFA Cup, is the second most important multi-national European football competition after the UEFA Champions League.

The 2009–10 UEFA Europa League is the first season of the UEFA Europa League and starts on July 2, 2009, and ends with the final held at the HSH Nordbank Arena, in Hamburg, Germany, on May 12, 2010.
