The National Hockey League (NHL) is the premier professional ice hockey league in North America. The league is home to 24 teams from the United States and 6 teams from Canada and and draws many top players from all over the world.
The NHL League consists of 2 conferences, the Eastern and the Western Conference, and 6 divisions, the Atlantis, Northeast, Southeast, Central, Northwest, and Pacific Division.
