Katie and Simon exchange Christmas gifts. Looking to the future, Katie promises to give Simon a house and a Lamborghini. When Simon apologizes for their current financial situation, Katie insists that she will get a job. When Simon doubts her, she makes a bet with him that she will get and hold onto a job. When Simon leaves, Katie considers calling Dahlia. Abi protests Holdens attempt to control who she dates. They argue and Abi insists that there is nothing he can do to keep her away from Nick. Holden holds his ground and locks Abi in the house, unaware that she has watched him set the alarm code. Meanwhile, Nick tells Molly that he will leave Abi alone if she gives him half a million dollars. He tells her to get the money to him by tomorrow night or he will take Abi away with him. Distraught, Molly leaves, while Nick and his woman celebrate. She gives Nick a music box for Christmas. Hal confides in Barbara how upset he is about Emilys sudden departure.
