After streaming 2,200 hours of live events and 3,000 hours of on-demand content from the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, NBC will now broadcast the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver live online as well as on demand. The only condition: viewers need to be subscribed to a multi-service operator and have to authenticate that they pay a monthly bill to watch TV.
