There are nine main categories: Best Song, Best Live Act, Best Group, Best New Act, Best Female, Best Male, Best Urban, Best Rock and Best Alternative with five nominees in each of these categories that you can vote for. Viewers were able to vote from September21, 2009 until 11.59pm CET on November1, 2009.
Presenters include: Asia Argento, Backstreet Boys, Bar Refaeli, Batista, Brody Jenner, David Hasselhoff, Jean Reno, Jesse Metcalfe, Jonas Brothers, Joss Stone, Juliette Lewis, Lil Kim, Miranda Cosgrove, Wladimir Klitschko.
Performers include: Beyoncé, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Jay-Z, Leona Lewis, Shakira, Tokio Hotel.
